Спасатель AirEmergency Services

The University of New Mexico Hospital’s Lifeguard Air Emergency Services has been supporting critical care transport needs of New Mexican’s and the Navajo Nation since 1983. Our service operates 24/7 providing 2 team configurations, Primary Team and Children’s Specialty Team

Lifeguard typically transports patients throughout New Mexico, Eastern Arizona, southern Colorado and western Texas, operating within a 700 mile radius of Albuquerque.

Crews of specially trained paramedics, nurses, respiratory therapists and physicians transport patients throughout the Southwest who have medical emergencies such as heart attacks, strokes, pregnancy complications, premature birth, or cardiac assist devices such as VAD’s and ECMO. Lifeguard Children’s Specialty team also includes providers with neonatal or pediatric experience.

Lifeguard operates three modes of transport; Fixed wing services are provided by Seven Bar via a fleet of King Air B200’s. Med-Trans operates the rotor wing with a Leonardo Kx 119. The University of New Mexico Hospitals operates a fleet of two critical care transport capable ground ambulances.
